Terms and Conditions

1. About this service

SreevAI News (the “Service”) is operated under the SreevAI brand by SreevAI, a UK based business (“we”, “us”, “our”), and is published at news.sreevai.com. Our full legal identity and address for service are available on request from the contact address below.

The Service collects publicly available news items about artificial intelligence from third party RSS feeds and uses automated systems, including AI, to write original summaries based on the facts in those sources. Each story credits and links to the sources it was based on. We do not republish third party articles in full.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service or to subscribe to our emails. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Accuracy and AI generated content

Articles and summaries on the Service are generated automatically by software, including AI models, from third party reporting. Automated content can be incomplete, out of date, misattributed, or simply wrong. Headlines, summaries, key takeaways and related context may contain errors or inaccuracies.

The Service is provided for general information only. It is not professional advice and must not be relied on for investment, legal, medical, safety, employment or any other consequential decisions. Always verify important information against the original source and qualified professional advice before acting on it.

4. Third party sources and attribution

The Service ingests headlines, links and short excerpts from third party RSS feeds and other publicly available sources. Every story on the Service identifies the source publication and links back to the original article. Trademarks, logos and brand names belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and attribution only.

We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability or policies of third party publishers, and a link to a source does not imply endorsement by us, or endorsement by the source of us.

5. Email subscriptions

You can read the Service without subscribing. If you choose to subscribe by email, subscription uses double opt in: when you submit the form, we send a confirmation email first, and updates only start after you click the confirmation link in that email.

Once confirmed, we send a welcome email containing recent stories matching the regions and categories you selected, and then a daily digest of new stories matching those preferences. Every email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Unsubscribing stops further emails but does not delete past stories already published on the Service.

To subscribe, you must tick the agreement box confirming that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We record the time at which you ticked that box together with your subscription record. For details of what we collect and how we handle it, see our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service in any way that breaches applicable law or the rights of others;
  • attempt to access, scrape or harvest the Service or its underlying systems in a way that disrupts normal operation, evades rate limits, or imposes an unreasonable load;
  • reverse engineer, probe for vulnerabilities, or interfere with security features of the Service;
  • use the Service to send spam, malware or harmful code, or to impersonate any person;
  • subscribe with an email address you are not authorised to use, or use the unsubscribe or confirmation flows to harass others;
  • misrepresent AI generated summaries as the original reporting of the cited source, or republish them in a way that strips source attribution and links.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including the SreevAI News name, logo, design, software, and the original AI generated text we publish, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may read, link to, and share individual articles for personal, non commercial purposes, provided you keep the source attribution intact. You may not copy, redistribute, scrape or build derivative products from substantial portions of the Service without our prior written permission.

Headlines, excerpts, images and trademarks from third party publishers belong to their respective owners and are used under fair dealing or fair use principles for news reporting and attribution.

8. Availability and changes

We provide the Service on a best effort basis. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available without interruption, error free, or that any specific story or feed will be available at any given time.

9. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non infringement, accuracy or completeness of content, or uninterrupted availability.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our directors, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service or any content on it, including reliance on AI generated content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Complaints and copyright takedown

If you believe a story on the Service contains a factual error, misattributes a source, infringes your copyright, or otherwise breaches these Terms, please contact us at akshay@sreevai.com with:

  • the URL of the article on news.sreevai.com,
  • a description of the issue,
  • where relevant, the original source URL and your relationship to the rights holder,
  • your contact details and, for copyright complaints, a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is unauthorised and that the information you provide is accurate.

We aim to review valid complaints promptly and may correct, update, retract or remove the affected content.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your infringement of any third party rights.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Service or notified by email where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to akshay@sreevai.com, or by post to [insert postal contact address].

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer rights you may have in your country of residence.

This document is provided for general guidance only and is not legal advice. We recommend that a qualified legal professional reviews and tailors it to your specific circumstances before publication.
